In brief

We provide website maintenance services from Melbourne for established businesses across Australia. We keep WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce and enterprise platforms updated, patched, monitored and backed up, on websites we built and websites we inherited, so stability never depends on luck.

The service

The quiet work that keeps everything else possible.

Updates, patches, monitoring and backups are not glamorous, but they decide whether a website is an asset or a liability. We handle the upkeep proactively and on a schedule, so problems are found before your customers find them and the platform stays ready to build on.

What we do

Maintenance, managed end to end.

The core upkeep of a modern website, planned and delivered by one accountable Melbourne team.

01

Core and platform updates.

CMS core, themes and platform components kept current, with changes tested before they reach production.

02

Security patching and hardening.

Vulnerabilities patched promptly and configurations hardened, so known risks are closed before they are exploited.

03

Monitoring and alerts.

Uptime, errors and unusual activity watched continuously, so issues surface as alerts rather than complaints.

04

Backups and recovery readiness.

Backups taken on schedule, stored safely and test-restored, so recovery is a procedure rather than a scramble.

05

Environment and hosting coordination.

We advise on and coordinate your hosting environment with your provider. The environment stays yours.

06

Plugin, dependency and integration upkeep.

Third-party plugins, libraries and integrations kept compatible and current as the platform evolves.

Inherited websites

Built anywhere, maintained here.

You do not need to have built your website with us for us to maintain it. Many of the platforms we look after were designed and developed elsewhere. Every inherited website moves through the same deliberate sequence.

01

Assessed

A structured technical review of the platform, environment and history, so we know exactly what we are looking after.

02

Stabilised

Outstanding updates applied, risks patched and monitoring in place, bringing the platform to a dependable baseline.

03

Improved

A maintenance schedule agreed and recommendations raised as we learn the platform, so it gets better, not just older.

Why maintenance

Why organisations invest in maintenance.

Every campaign, enquiry and transaction depends on the website underneath it staying secure and stable.

01

Security kept current.

Most compromises exploit known, unpatched vulnerabilities. Staying current closes them.

02

Small issues stay small.

Problems found by monitoring cost little. Problems found by customers cost trust and revenue.

03

Stability protects revenue.

Downtime and degraded performance interrupt enquiries and sales while they last.

04

Recovery is rehearsed.

Verified backups and a tested restore path turn a bad day into a short one.

05

One accountable team.

Updates, patches, monitoring and recovery sit with one team, not scattered across vendors.

06

A platform ready to build on.

A well maintained platform makes every future improvement faster and safer to ship.

Measurement

Every action logged, every decision explained.

Maintenance is reported like any other work we do: what was done, what it protected and what comes next.

Update and patch log.

What was updated, when and why, recorded in plain language.

Uptime and incidents.

Availability over the period, and what was done about anything that occurred.

Backup verification.

Confirmation that backups ran, and evidence from restore tests.

Performance checks.

Page speed and platform health checked against the baseline we set together.

Risks and recommendations.

Anything we noticed that deserves attention, raised before it becomes urgent.

A clear next cycle.

What is scheduled next, so maintenance never depends on memory.

Answers

Answers, before you ask.

Yes. Many of the websites we maintain were designed and built elsewhere. Every inherited platform starts with a structured review of the codebase, hosting and update history, so we know what we are working with before the first update goes on.

WordPress and WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce and a range of custom and enterprise platforms. The platforms and technologies we support are listed on our Website Support page.

No. We are not a hosting provider. Your hosting environment remains yours, and we advise on it and coordinate with your provider so the platform and its environment work well together.

Routine work is scheduled and tested before it reaches production, and anything with visitor impact is planned around your quiet periods. The aim is that customers never notice maintenance happened.

Monitoring usually finds it first. We investigate, communicate what we know and restore normal operation, then record what happened and what was changed so the same issue is less likely twice.

Access to the platform and hosting environment, a contact who can answer questions about the website’s history, and clarity on what matters most to the business.

Yes. WordPress and WooCommerce maintenance is a large part of the work: core, theme and plugin updates tested before release, security patching, uptime monitoring and backups you can actually restore from. The same routine runs for Shopify, BigCommerce and the custom and enterprise platforms we support.
