The challenge
What needed to change.
AAD sells only to businesses through an online ordering system. The old website required customers to have an account and sign in to a portal to access product information before purchase, but customers wanted to know more about the company and its products before signing up.
AAD required a website more focused on the B2B user journey, providing product and company information upfront and a simplified ordering process.
Approach
How the work took shape.
AAD provided an initial website design for us to build on. We developed a new content-based website tailored to better suit AAD’s B2B audience. The new website provides detailed company and product information with a simplified process for users to get to the point of ordering.
It was also important that our design and development were clean and well documented, as AAD’s IT team would be deploying the website themselves.
The shift
Business customers wanted to know who they were buying from before they were asked to log in.

The work
The work, up close.
The new AAD website offers users a straightforward, informative platform with easy navigation and login to access the eCommerce portal. As an aftermarket industry leader, AAD now has a website that gives its customers the detailed product and company information they were asking for, before they commit to an account.
The process of handing over the project to the IT team for deployment went smoothly, and AAD are very happy with the end result.
