Dinya Designs: a new shop-fitting website.

For more than ten years Dinya Designs has helped retailers across Australia and beyond fit out their spaces. Its website needed to catch up with the business it had become.

The challenge

What needed to change.

Dinya Designs has spent over a decade bringing retail spaces to life, from boutique stores to large commercial spaces. Over that time the business has evolved from a supplier of shopfitting products into a trusted partner for custom shopfitting and storage solutions.

Its commitment goes beyond selling fixtures. Dinya values relationships over profit and prides itself on collaboration, creativity and quality. But while the service was personal and hands on, the website did not reflect that energy or innovation. It was time to change that.

The old website was not keeping up with the business Dinya had become. It did not highlight the full product range or showcase the creative possibilities on offer, and the experience felt flat: it was not inspiring users to imagine their own spaces or discover complementary products. On the backend, managing listings and integrations with systems like QuickBooks and eBay was manual and time consuming.

The challenge was to create a website that captured the brand personality, simplified operations and offered customers a shopping experience as dynamic as walking through a real showroom.

Approach

How the work took shape.

We kicked off with a deep discovery and mapping phase to understand Dinya’s customers and how they shop. Together we ran through every scenario, from the casual browser looking for ideas to the professional buyer ordering in bulk, and built user journeys that put both inspiration and usability at the forefront. Those two customers want different things from the same catalogue, and the structure had to serve both without compromise.

From there we designed a fresh, intuitive website that feels like a real retail experience online. The layout invites exploration, with visual cues and prompts that encourage customers to discover more products and imagine new display ideas.

To support growth we also focused on backend performance. Using ACF fields and a custom WordPress build, we gave the Dinya team control over products, pricing and promotions, and paired it with integrations and automation that save time, reduce manual work and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

The shift

The website had to work like a showroom for browsers and like a trade counter for bulk buyers.
