Case study · Property & built environment

Meadows Property: a real estate website that stands out.

Formerly Meadows Partners, the business needed a complete repositioning, and its website was the most visible piece of it. We rebuilt it with crisp visuals, live property integrations and carefully considered interface details.

The challenge

What needed to change.

Previously known as Meadows Partners, Meadows Property needed a total repositioning of its brand. We worked with the team to refresh the entire brand presence, and one element mattered more than any other: the real estate website, which is where most clients would meet the new name for the first time.

The previous website was clunky and not user friendly, and its dated design was out of step with a premium offering. It also had to serve four business offerings at once and keep working behind the scenes, which the old build was not doing well.

Approach

How the work took shape.

We approached the website as part of the wider brand refresh rather than a standalone project. By refreshing the brand at every customer touchpoint, from collateral to social feeds to the website, we could change how Meadows Property is perceived by its clients in one move rather than piece by piece.

For the website itself, the plan was to improve the overall user experience first and then roll out a clean, crisp design that carried the new brand.

Three problems with the old website shaped the brief. The design was clunky and hard to use, so navigation and page structure had to be rethought from the ground up. The look was dated and did not match the premium positioning the business was moving to, so the visual design had to do real work in signalling quality.

And the website had to be functional across all four of the business offerings while running smoothly behind the scenes, which meant the integrations that feed property data into the pages had to be planned as carefully as the design. Getting those three things right, together, was the whole job.

The shift

A premium agency is judged on details, so the website had to sweat the small ones too.
