Steel Window Design is a leading Australian manufacturer known for its custom-made steel windows and doors. They approached Emote to redesign their website with a refreshed look that reflects their craftsmanship and makes it easier for customers to explore their products and get in touch. The goal was simple – create a modern, stylish, and easy-to-manage website for both users and the SWD team.

The Challenge

The old website had an outdated design, a limited structure, and wasn’t easy to navigate. Users found it hard to explore product options or get a sense of the brand’s quality. From the client’s side, updating content or adding new projects required unnecessary effort and time.

The challenge was to create a visually appealing, functional, and flexible website that looked premium while being simple for the client to maintain.

The Approach

We designed and developed a new website that strikes a balance between elegance and usability. A clear navigation system with a new mega menu helps users quickly browse through products, projects, and resources.

For the backend, we built a custom CMS using ACF fields, giving SWD the ability to easily update product listings, add new projects, and manage content without technical help.

We also migrated and refreshed all existing project content, ensuring a smooth transition from the old website while maintaining their extensive portfolio. Integrations like Contact Form 7 and Instagram Feed were added to keep enquiries and visual updates simple and connected.

The Outcome

The result is a clean, visually engaging website that represents SWD’s design quality and craftsmanship. Customers can now navigate effortlessly, explore the product range, and submit quote requests with ease.

For the client, day-to-day content updates are now quick and straightforward. The new website has given SWD a stronger digital presence and positioned them as a modern leader in the steel window and door industry.
