Looking Back on 2018 at Emote Digital

Can you believe 2018 has flown by already? This year has been massive for us here at Emote, so we’d like to take a moment to look back on our many successes.

New projects, accomplishments and milestones

The best part of working on a project is seeing the beautiful end result. 2018 saw us launch several websites, including:

Our marketing clients saw some impressive returns through our social and search advertising services. Some of the highlights were:

  • 10x return on investment (ROI) from social remarketing campaigns for Globe Brand
  • 39% increase in revenue for JR/Duty Free
  • 26x ROI from social advertising for NC Fitness
  • 966% increase in Facebook engagement for 4Legs
  • 332% increase in website traffic for the No Breakfast Guy

We were also thrilled to hit some major milestones for the agency. Emote Digital became a Facebook Preferred Partner, as well as an official Mailchimp Partner! This has allowed us to totally innovate our services and constantly improve our client offerings in these areas.

Our trip to the Gold Coast for the 2018 iMedia Online Retail Summit not only provided a welcome relief from Melbourne’s chaotic weather, but allowed us to meet so many retailers from all over Australia. We especially loved learning more about eCommerce, which is one of Emote’s specialities.

  • Tech Diversity Awards


It was amazing to be a part of the Tech Diversity Awards this year. Hosted by the #TechDiversity Foundation, it was a celebration of the inclusive efforts by so many incredible Victorian organisations and businesses. An inspiring event to say the least.

Our first Facebook event as an official Partner was a success, and we learned so much from the official Facebook team themselves. We can’t wait to learn more about how we can improve our social media advertising services to our clients in 2019.

As a certified Google Partner, we were invited to attend the 2018 Google Partner Summit. It was a great chance to learn directly from Google experts, as well as to mingle with other digital agencies from all across Australia and New Zealand.
