The Challenge

As a brand new startup non-bank lender business, Uptain had a mission to utilise AI technology to facilitate a fast approved loan designed for business owners. The saturated lending market threw them several challenges which we needed to help address in the new website. One key challenge was to reduce application documents required through the site, and expedite the process for business owners.

The Approach

We examined the workflow of different user groups: customers, mortgage brokers, and investors. Then our UX team worked to develop the ideal sitemap for the new website. After wireframing and prototyping, we began rolling out responsive designs across mobile and desktop. The designs prioritised attention on the key messages of cheaper rates, fast approval timeframes, less documents required, and easy to use systems.

The Outcome

The sparkly new Uptain website can be found at uptain.com.au. Its vibrant design and hand drawn assets help it to stand apart from corporate lenders and banks. The design shines a light on the different types of available loans and simple application process. A handy loan repayment calculator helps show users their borrowing potential and drive enquiries. 

Now, when business owners apply to Uptain, their powerful AI technology helps advise the most suitable (or tailored) loan solution – without the need to wait weeks to hear from the big banks.  The website helps reduce pain and paperwork for both the end user and the core business. It’s a win-win!
