Did you know Melbourne’s very own Patons delivers the largest range of chocolate-covered macadamia confectionery and flavoured nuts in the world? Yum! Our team sank their teeth into a new website build for this iconic Aussie brand.
The Patons website is a destination hub for retail customers looking to learn more about Patons nuts and seeds, including yummy recipes. But it also has to serve as a B2B platform for clients seeking trade services such as product development, packaging and manufacturing.
The UX designers designed a sitemap and user experience that is clearly separated to cater to both retail and trade customers. Icons have been used throughout the site to help immediately identify services and product categories. Separate pages serve as mini websites or landing pages for the other brands in the Patons family: The Gourmet Nut Co, and Suncoast Gold.
The outcome is a handy, searchable website that directs users to the product or information they seek, whether retail or trade audiences. The entire Patons product catalogue (across all three brands) can be filtered by product type, brand, pack type, dietaries, and stockist location. The delicious Patons recipe collection can be filtered by meal type, cooking time, difficulty, brand and serving yield.
